What was waste from a Quartzite Quarry in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Coríntia sculpts into utilitarian sculptures.
With the aim of recovering the 'Artisans of the Region' who escaped with the extinction of the cooperative and the proposal to create an intimacy between sculpture and utilitarian elements of architecture, Coríntia presents its bathroom collection entirely carved by hand.

Sculptural Process
From waste, mountains of rocks left to the erosion of the elements, Coríntia with its team of artisans, sculpts by hand and transforms these minerals into pieces of art.

Bathroom Collection
Coríntia presents itself on the market with two collections: 'Chillida' and 'Trevi Series' created by Portuguese architect and artist Guilherme Falcão.
Both handcrafted carvings differ in the formal search process. We propose plastic exercises to redefine the idea of countertops and bathroom sinks.
